A cappella at Yale
since 1969
THE NEW BLUE OF YALE

The New Who?
The New Blue was founded in 1969, the same year that Yale University first admitted undergraduate women – making us not only Yale's first women's a cappella group, but its oldest undergraduate women's organization of any kind.
Since 2020, we've been honored to sing with all SSAA folks of note. We hail from a rich musical history dating back 50 years, and we hope to always stand (and sing!) as a proud, living symbol of change at Yale.

"The flawless intonation and heartfelt delivery signify this: no, we can't stop New Blue from taking over the collegiate a cappella world." - Judges of the Contemporary A Cappella Society
